Volunteer at the Theater

Be A Part of History

The Normal Theater is a beautifully restored movie house that was originally built in 1937. Movie-lovers from all across central Illinois have come to enjoy feature under the humming glow of our neon lights. When the theater was re-opened in 1994, a large part of the operations were done with the help of volunteers. Today we welcome fans of the theater to help with making a night out at the movies an unforgettable experience. Whether you want to tear tickets or help make the popcorn, we are happy to have you.

Volunteers arrive 30 minutes before showtime and stay 15 minutes after credits to help clean up.
